Needing root to empty the bin??!

Hello

Just found out that to empty the Trash, you need to be logged in as root (well actually I'm guessing there is a way round it but I dont know it, hence this post.)

I tried chmod 777 /home/user/Desktop/Trash

Still wont let me empty the bugger logged in as normal user...

So, how??

Thanks

Hong

dont create files as root then expect to remove them from a normal account. You only need to be root to make install or read files only root can read.

I can understand that! But these files are just normal files I created (like text files, etc) and wanted to delete....
