Perhaps there is a language barrier for OP. He may mean not finding free support, if so then look into CentOS, the free version of RedHat or Fedora the test bed for RedHat. However, as TBOne pointed out any of the non server oriented major distros will do. Regarding "learning Linux", use the search function on this forum, there is a tremendous wealth of info. in/on here, and that has to be one of the most frequently asked questions over the years.

How about this? We should not recommend which Linux DISTRIBUTION you should use, you should pick one that you like by examining them. There are tons of guides and meanwhile this forum, Linux - Newbie has a sticky thread, Linux Newbies - How To Choose A Distro. Quite a few members here contributed to that for the final copy made by MillJ. Please give that a look. (I say Distribution all caps because Linux itself is the OS, but the varied types of Linux are different distributions) If you want to be a gaming developer, then you should look up game development software. I have no particular recommendations, there is a Linux - Games forum, but mostly I feel it is about playing them versus writing them. The best way the LQ forums work is when you show what you have tried and share your thoughts. Stating that you have no idea and want complete guides from people about how to do things is not helpful. You may get answers for complete guides, some of them may not match what you're looking for. Please update the forum with some additional information about what you've tried and what you've considered for distributions and software development options. |

Lifewire (was about.com) has a pretty good section on Linux: https://www.lifewire.com/learn-how-linux-4102755
You will find much useful information at Going Linux: http://goinglinux.com/ A web search for RHEL tutorials should turn up lots of useful links: https://www.startpage.com/do/dsearch...nguage=english |
If you want to develop games, see this http://michaelb.org/getting-started-...e-development/

Thanks everyone.
