Need USB/Linksys help...

I finially got Linux installed for the first time so I kind of have no idea whats going on. I need to connect to the interent with a USB Linksys 802.11b wireless adapter. How do I install it?? I might have a driver on a floppy that will work in Mandrake but who knows. The regular windows installation cd doesnt seem to work so Im clueless.

Thanks for the help!

Thanks but Im still in the dark. I have a tar.gz file for the adapter but I dont know how to use it. Im also not sure if the USB is set up properly. Can anyone help? Once I get the internet working then I can read how to do things and then actually do it instead of spending 10 minutes switching OSs.

I have a linksys wired router. see it you cant hardwire it. I tried using wireless, but it was too much of a headache so i hardwired it and it turned out to be cheaper and faster. i got my stuff at radio shack. The router it a befsr41 and i just bougth 100 feet of cat5e cable for $60. I had to drill a few holes but it saved me alot of work, very easy to configure. It says it only works with IE or mozilla, but ive found that opera or any other browser also works.

Hope this helps
