need to search (grep) multiple directories

looking for oracle forms .fmb files want to look through a directory and all its sub directories.

grep '*\.fmb' works for CWD but how to get it to look through sub directories?

Code:
grep -R "some text" base-dir/
The -R switch means "recursive" and will dig into the subdirectories as you want.
