Need to remove GRUB - Help Please
I know nothing about Linux but every time I try it, I have problems with my Windows installation.
I recently installed Kubuntu in a triple system configuration. All worked well, I can load Kubuntu, Windows Vista Ultimate, or Windows 7 Ultimate.
The only problem is that GRUB, the boot manager, makes changes to the RAID configuration and damages the RAID structure every time (GRUB) is run. Consequently, I can not access my RAID disks in any way. (I don't need RAID with Linux, but when GRUB runs and I go into Windows, the RAID structure is always damaged until I reboot and check the bios information).
How can I get rid of GRUB? I still want to leave Kubuntu in the computer if possible, but I now need to use Windows and my RAID disks.
I am experimenting with Super Grub which seems to be a good option for booting from various OS's.
Thanks,
