Need to reinstall ubunu-have cd -how do I convert that cd to usb flash drive?

Don't know password to netbook. Assuming I would need to go ahead and reload OS but I don't have a cd rom drive in notebook which came with a CD of OS. How can I copy CD to USB drive so that I can reinstall OS using flash drive?

yep, unetbootin works quiet good and simple to use. but first (if you do not want to download the iso), you will have to convert your existing cd to an iso image which can be done with most cd burning programs.
