Well.. if want to uinstall Linux.. simply put ur window XP or NT cd in the drive and u will see the option to format.. and so on.. and u can do all by urself.
But .. You can have both windows and linux running side by side on a single system as dual boot...
Linux is great.. Just give it a try;

Tryed to install by cd, reads drive but no response, won't read a: drive, just seems to boot up and then the screen goes black, tryed setup, but was only familiar with help command and none of the others. Don,t know what to do, is there any way I can format the hard drive, or get an a: prompt or d: prompt or ? Lost
Thanks TJ

if it wont boot the cd make sure ur bios is set to boot from the cdrom first, once your in the setup its pretty self explanitory, Also if you have partition magic you could boot from that repartition and format then boot from the windows cd

oh and you should be able to download a bootable floppy and boot from that if you dont have partition magic, and then fdisk, refer to microsofts help database on how to use fdisk, once you have done that you should be able to install it with no problems

Linux changes around the partitions on your hard disk drive, also changes your Master Boot Record. Boot the system off a floppy with some flavor of a microsoft OS boot disk. You will need to load FDISK and clear the Master Boot Record.....C: FDISK /MBR then use fdisk to delete all the partitions Linux has created. Reboot and load MS Windows.
Hope it helps!
