Question need to get ISO for Mac OSX (10.5.1) how? where?

Ok, brand new to Linux just was introduced to it via one of our tech guys at work and was VERY impressed. I'm a graphic designer and the have an older Mac at home that I thought I'd try out Linux on. I'm wanting to get Linux Mint to run on my powerPC Dual 867Mhz G4 tower it only has 512 of RAM but I have plenty of HD space at least 50gb.

I understand that I need to get my ISO first but have no idea where to get it, if anyone could provide a link that would be great. Once I get this far I have a tutorial I found on this site but any tips would be appreciated. I only intend to surf email etc from this machine till I decide I like it then I'll want to install it on my Mac intel laptop.s

Welcome to LQ!

I regret I've to say Linux Mint will not run on PPC platform, only x86 seems to be supported:

You do not need Mac OSX ISO's for Linux install.

Go to and pick yourself a distro that runs on PPC, there are a few.
