need to find bison


im trying to install wine and at first it says that i need a compiler but i got that off of my mandrake 9.1 disks then it says that i need byson first of all what is it and second where can i find it it is not on my disks anyone got a link where i can just download it
please help i really dont know what im doing i just started using linux 2 days ago

It really should be on your disks but, if not, there ya go. Look there for most any software you need. Search Google Linux if you need anything that isn't there.

anyone know where i can find rps's of wine i cant get this bison thing to work i keep getting more errors bye the way what is bison

In Linux, it helps to be a go-getter and do your homework. Hell, *I* get slammed for not being enough of a search-junkie. Check the Linux Documentation Project for a Wine HOW-TO if it's not already in /usr/doc on your machine.
