Need Media Players
 

Where can I get some media player programs for RH8.0? I would like to be able to play mp3, mpg, avi, etc. I'm pretty sure that there is an mp3 player that comes with GNOME, but I don't like it very much.

Also, what is a good website to find such software? That way I won't have to ask this in the future. ;)

xmms is pretty much the standard audio player its similar to winAmp if you've used that.
for media players its pretty much mplayer as the one that supports just about everything.

Mplayer is good, also if using xmms for music you will have to go to this site:

XMMS

Then download the mpg123 plugin, otherwise you won't be able to listen to MP3s.
