[RESOLVED]need kernel compile?

I have installed centos 5.2 x86 as guest at vmware on windows 7 x64 as host.

But some reason, I migrated centos from vmware to virtualbox.

The important thisng is this centos was installed on raw disk - sata. Of cource I can import at virtualbox. However I wonder there could be some problems.

Please leave your comment which I should compile kernel of this centos or not.

Moving from one virtual system to another as a guest should not require a kernel compile. Normally, Red Hat/CentOS comes with a kernel which pretty much works on anything, as long as the architecture (x86, PPC, etc) is correct for the platform you are installing on.
