Need help with Red Hat 8.0...

Ok, here's the story..

I have a Compaq Presario, 1.3 ghz, 128 MB RAM, 60 GB hard drive with Win ME.. My friend brought over Red Hat 8.0 iso's so I tried to install it to see what it was like to use Linux. Well, Linux installed fine, but when my computer rebooted I got a black screen with white writing that ended with apm: bios version 1.2 flags 0x0b (driver 1.16). Now, I was told by someone I know to check my BIOS and fdisk /mbr. I don't know what to check in BIOS, and I can't fdisk because 1) I have no boot floppies, and 2) I can't download one because I can't get my computer running. I am currently on a 233 mhz iMac with no floppy drive so I cannot get one from this computer. Any help to get my computer up and running would be appreciated.

# How do I uninstall Linux completely and keep/use Windows only?
How to Remove Linux and Install Windows XP
You can remove lilo from the mbr with
/sbin/lilo -u
You can remove grub or lilo from the mbr by booting with a Windows 98 boot floppy (at the prompt, type fdisk /mbr), or by using the Windows XP Recovery Console.

You have the rescue function on install CD 1
Redhat 8.0 Rescue Mode

If you want to keep linux then try disabling apm in the bios and passing "noapm" as a kernel argument at boot.
