so i put in the 11 mint disk a and when it asks you to chose where to boot from what do i do

Put the disk on the tray and reboot your computer with the disk inside. Then just select to install.
If the boot goes stry to the hard drive then you need to press a key to boot from CD. It will tell you there at booting time.
In some computers you need to press F12 or F1 so it is different.

You can ignore the request for a proxy unless you usually use one.

but it says i cant install without wifi and i have wifi and it says it cannot find one because i dont us dhof or somthing

It is best to install using a network cable if you can. If not you will need to find out which WiFi driver you need and how to install that from USB also. I haven't done that so can't help with it I'm afraid.

so i cant get a wierd connection to work so it said when i installed it that it transferd all drivers
