need help running Linux XP with Virtual PC 2004

Hey, i need help running linux xp on my virtual pc....when it reads the iso boots etc, there i have the installation.....but i need to partion the drive but it can partion some of it or something and says it will reformate the drive click yes to continue. what do i do to install it but keep my XP HD in takt

It's been a while since I have used Virtual PC, but when you set up the machine/instance you created a file for your hard drive, right? So when you partition you wont touch your real hard drive only the virtual one. Does that help?

BTW Virtual PC suck IMO, use VMware.

yes that helps... have tou partitioned a disk before on VPC? and whats so bad about VPC?
