Need Help Install GTK

I downloaded GTK and all the dependencies it needed to install. When it comes to installing ATK however it tells me that I need Glib version 2.0. I already installed Glib 2.2.1, I don't see what the problem is.

I had a problem similar to that. Are you getting errors about pkg-config? Please elaborate on the error messages and make sure that you are installing in this order:
First------------>Last
Glib-Pango-ATK-GTK
