need help in iptables

how to install iptables in redhat 7.3..
im having problem to install iptables..
hint :insmoderrors can caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid io or irq parameters

service ipchains stop
rmmod ip_chains
insmod iptables
service iptables start

afaik...
If you run into problems, you probably need to upgrade you kernel...

In RedHat 7.3, you have both ipchains and iptables installed.
I suggest removing the ipchains RPM.
