Need help identifying and mounting/unmounting USB drive.

Hello.

I hve a removable USB drive, and I need to know how to identify the name of it under linux, the location of it, and how to mount/unmount it. I'm using Knoppix 3.7. I used lsusb and the one I shows lists as:

Bus 001 Device 002: ID 041e:4133 Creative Technology, Ltd.

Thank you very much.

Ah, I've answered my own initial questions (sorry for asking them when they weren't that difficult to find on my own), but now I have a new problem.

When I unmount my usb drive, the drive still tells me that it's connected, and not to remove it. I shut down the computer instead, but when I tried to read the files on another computer, it couldn't read them at all. Any ideas?

I should clarify on the inability to read the files. They were plain text files,a nd the computer that wouldn't read them (running windows xp) said they were corrupted.
