Question Need help getting ttywatch to work.

Background: I have several servers hooked up on the same network and a few of them keep rebooting themselves when they are under load. All of them are running some flavor of RHAT 4, so I set up Netdump and used Magic keys to ensure it was logging the dump information on one of the other machines.

Now when the machines crash all netdump gets is the information that the machine is booting back up. I was asked to monitor TTY3 and save the output when it crashes, but wanted some automatic way of doing it since I can't be watching the terminal window 24/7.

I was told ttywatch could be setup to log the information but whenever I try to run it, it says the port is not available or something.

Anyone have A working Syntax to or a better way of getting a dump of the kernel data without it panicking?

If you haven't figured it out yet, post your setup?
