So, you asked for advice on a good distro to load for a new user, and we gave it to you...then you ignore it, and load RHEL? Why ask if you're going to load whatever you want to?
And unless you are going to PAY FOR RHEL, you should not be using it. You will NOT get updates/patches/security fixes, and will not be able to load software from online repositories. All you've done is make things MUCH harder on yourself. Not to mention the fact that RHEL is meant for SERVERS...not consumer hardware. Support for sound/bluetooth/etc., is lacking, because such hardware is NOT FOUND ON SERVERS. This has been said on this site many, MANY times.

....which proves that point. If you loaded Fedora or Mint, chances are it would be working. And you need to open a new thread for a new question, don't tack them onto an existing question that has nothing to do with the original topic.
And again, if you looked on this site, you'd find this same question answered many times. You probably need to run usb_modeswitch, then get network manager to set up your connection. Again, if you loaded Fedora or Mint, things would probably be working.
