Need advice

I am new to linux and i am finding it really confusing!
I use facebook to keep in touch with family and friends from all over but it keeps cutting off could anybody tell me why this is? And how i can stop it from happening if it is possible

Looking to you're thread title are you in danger ?
What about telling as some use full information like which distro you using and which browser and when it happens and so on

First, please change your thread title to something more descriptive. (Click on edit and then the advanced mode)

For your actual question, we will need some more detail. For starters, what does "cutting off" mean? Also, waht version of Linux, what browser, what kind of internet connection?

Sorry i am new to the forum and i didn't know what to put as a title

the browser is Firefox, linux lite v1.o.13.e
it is a wireless connection

the chat just comes on then goes of seconds later

Something descriptive of your specific issue---"need advice" tells us nothing. How about: "facebook chat problem with firefox"

Except for chat, does Facebook work correctly?

Is it possible that it needs Flash and/or Java? Do you have both of those installed and working?

Have you tried a different browser?
