Need a script which does Health check for Linux and send mail notification?


anyone who can help me with this?

what do you mean by health check??
why dont you just install some monitoring software??? nagios/zenoss/monit/opennms or the like??
would make your job much easier.

I don't need sophisticated Tools. all I want is just to notification through mail regarding CPU, Memory, processes Running etc.etc..

hmmm...might be best if you write one then

or there are quite a few if you search on places like freshmeat
