Need a Media Player for FC4
 

Hello everyone,

I just installed FC4 and I'm looking for opinions on what the most versatile media player there is available that can play most audio and video file formats (especially for viewing DVD's and playing mp3's).

mplayer is my media player of choice. It plays DVDs swell.

I personally found xine to be extremely compatible with many audio/video formats, including Windows media formats. It also worked amazingly with DVDs.

There are also some other very good media players, such as MPlayer and VLC. I prefer Xine though (and also another of its graphical front-ends, Totem).
