Need a good video player for redhat 5.2


Hello Friends
I am unable to install vlc player in my redhat 5.2 box.
can anyone suggest me any other good video player for my redhat 5.2 box
and from where i can download it with all dependencies .

Well, this is very similar to the OTHER thread you posted:

..where you were provided a link for RPM's with dependencies. There are many 'good' players, such as mplayer, xine, kaffine, and totem. Some depend on KDE, others Gnome, some X. But you don't say anything about what you're running. Mplayer has source and codecs available on their website.

And again, if you are NOT PAYING for RHEL, you should NOT be using it. RHEL5.2 is old...the latest is 5.5, and RedHat enterprise isn't really made for enterianment...it's made for SERVERS. If you don't have server-class requirements, load a different distro, which will support such things right off the bat.

Do a google search for mplayer. That will get you started.
