Nedit-missing fonts

I've downloaded Nedit and am trying to tweak the fonts since the defaults are ugly/unreadable.

The font list is missing many of the fonts installed on my machine, for example gedit shows monospace but nedit does not. Any way to make nedit aware of all the fonts?.

Also, does nedit support anti-aliased fonts?.

Thanks.

Nedit uses the motif widget set and may be a little old fashioned.
And I think, you will have to do with the default fonts and their looks.

If you don't like it : Suggest : Use something else. .. :)

Leafpad is another light weight editor. Binary = 88 kB !
All your nice fonts will be included.

Requires (lib)gtk2 development files to build.
