Ndiswrapper and Fedora Core 6 Help

I recently tried to install ndiswrapper onto my new fedora core 6 system and am having problems.

I typed in yum -y install ndiswrapper. Then installed my driver software for my WPN111 netgear card. Doing the ndiswrapper -l command indicated that my drivers were installed and the device was present. However it was from there that nothing worked. From the instructions I typed in depmod -a and that worked. Then modprobe ndiswrapper which brought up an error mesage unable to install to lib something or other.

At this stage I decided to restart the computer. Since doing that the ndiswrapper command in the console is just showing command not found. I tried installing it via yum again and it just says nothing to do, so it is installed I think. Can someone give me a hand with what to type into the Konsole to fix this?

Thanks in Advance

I wish I could. I use Ubuntu and all I managed to do is to damage my system fatally. (^_^) I had to recompile the whole kernel and so on.. Actually it was just easier to reinstall the whole system.:D
