Nautilus doesn't browse samba...

Hi all,
I explored this forum a bit before posting, but found only the "opposite" of the problem I have with nautilus :
I try to connect to a winxp box from ubuntu (runnung gnome 2.14.1), and when I do "Network Servers" from the start menu, I get with no problem to the point where I select the Workgroup for the samba sharing (it detects 2 groups, as it should). Then starts the big problem : I can't open the computer named ESPADON : I get an error message saying :
Code:

The filename "ESPADON" indicates that this file is of type "desktop configuration file". The contents of the file indicate that the file is of type "x-directory/smb-share". If you open this file, the file might present a security risk to your system.

Do not open the file unless you created the file yourself, or received the file from a trusted source. To open the file, rename the file to the correct extension for "x-directory/smb-share", then open the file normally. Alternatively, use the Open With menu to choose a specific application for the file.

I also checked the libgnomevfs2-extra package was installed and the libsmbclient too. These were the packages I saw referred to everywhere where I went. I still have a feeling it's only a missing package... All help will be appreciated.

I have the same problem. There is a workaround though. Click the "Go" menu, then "Location..." then type something like smb://xp/, smb:// is the browser and xp the computer name. Or you can type smb:// and then the IP adress of the PC.

Thanks for the tip. Although it's quite stupid, having to enter the location manually. The most important is that it works...
Thanks!!
