Names of Local machines

I'n just got put on a network with a mix of windows/linux comps. Is there a command or util that I can use to find out the names of the networked machines from mine ? Just curious... :confused:

Well, you don't really give a lot of information in your question ...

However, using SAMBA locally on your PC, you can use Konqueror and the URL "smb://" or "smb://<domainname>" to try and get a "Network Neighborhood" type of listing of Windows PCs and any Linux PCs also running SAMBA and broadcasting an identifier.
