Nagios is unable to send email to the new contact
 

I have nagios running on Ubuntu. Due to organization changes we need to add another email address that can receive email notifications. Contact A and B receive messages without problems but the new contact C is not. here is what I have done so far:
1. Add contact C on Contacts
2. Generate nagios config > no issues
3. check postfix > the settings are correct because contact a&b can receive emails.


I am not sure what else to check. Please help as I am a novice user. Thank you.

Did you restart Nagios?

Thanks for the reply. As per your suggestion, I tried to restart but this is what I got:

user@server:/omd/sites/pj/etc/init.d$ nagios restart
No command 'nagios' found, did you mean:
Command 'nagios3' from package 'nagios3-core' (main)
nagios: command not found

I don't know Ubuntu, but on RHEL derived systems its
I'm sure Ubuntu has a similar system.

Sorry about that. I forgot to be in sudo. I have manage to restart it but the issue still persists. Please help me
