n00b trying to install drivers
 
how can i see what drivers i have installed and what i havent?
and how do i install drivers for my onboard network card?

im trying fedora core. its the first OS other than windows i have used.
any help on anything would help.

can i see my windows drives while in fedora core or not?

the LINUX kernel has support for a lot of drivers

it may happen that a suport for a hardware is not compiled in to ur knrel then u can either compile ur kernel for that support or get some xternal driver to support that

for seeing ur windows drives u need to mount them

a small mounting tuturial i had wrtten some time back

get that from here
