Myth TV

Cannot get MythTV going on Centos 7.6 The setup screen says it can't wake up host, I have the server name the same as terminal sees it.
I have a Hauppauge WinTV HVR-980 this is a USB tuner that works fine in Windows and macOS on my triple boot Mac Pro.

Setup screen freezes and have to do a force log out.

So simple to set up on mac and Windows... what gives?

Have you looked online to see if there have been other people who dealt with the same issue?

How did you install it? Did you use the packages from RPM Fusion or compile from source?
Have you read these instructions?

Centos may not be one of the best choices. I suppose you could get it to work however if you are just wanting to be easy then consider mythbuntu maybe to start.

Freezing I can't say why. /var logs may provide some clues.

Is this server running on physical machine that has gone in a sleep mode?
