Mysqladmin change root password
 

Hi everybody...

I just installed mysql server on my linuxbox and would like to know how to change the password for the root user.

I´d like to know how do I change user passwords (root included) password...

I can do everything else... For example, I just flushed the privileges table... I can ping the database etc.

But I´m having problem interpreting the command to change a password. Is it possible for me to allow logon from any host too?

I´m a newbie with capital N with mysql.
