I currently trying to run a mediawiki and serendipty weblog which both require MySQL. I have MySQL installed on my fedora core 5. What I am looking for since I have never worked with a database like mysql is there a good site with a tutorial or good man pages that I can learn the basics. Like adding users and creating database of mediawiki and serendipty blog.

cs-cam 06-29-2006 08:32 PM has a lot of good documentation which should cover just about everything. I suggest installing phpMyAdmin for a great GUI to access MySQL, can't go wrong with that and it's all point and click. After you've run a query in phpMyAdmin it'll show you the SQL it generated as well so you can learn off that too :)
