ok, this gets a bit too annoying:

everytime i start my computer in linux, i have to fix the damn clock (cause the time always off if i use windoze !!!)

same goes to windoze, everytime i start windoze, my clock is off (if i come from linux parition)

see.... if i don't go to windoze, and stick with linux, my xlock is fine, same goes to windoze


this is crazy, i shz you not, i adjust the time in linux box, and window get acts up! i adjust the clock in window, linux gives me attitude. plz advise me so they both can chill out about my stupid clock

they gotta learn how to give my stupid clock a break man. this morning i was late for work because of that

im not sure how MS handles the clocks, but in linux /etc/localtime is your time zone info, i think if oyu set it to UTC then it will be fine (it doesent matter if you live in that time zone, all it emans is linux wont try and set your clock to your timezone (it acts as if your hardware clock if the UTC time), localtime should be a symlink to /share/zoneinfo/whatever (if its not then just copy the curect file form /share/zoneinfo into /etc/localtime

Yeah, I've had this problem. I didn't have the time zones set properly in Linux. Whenever I booted in to windows I'd be 6 hours off. Or maybe I had set it to use UTC.... Anyways, there's a couple things to look at in both windows and in Linux.
