my usb drive in vitualbox!!!

i am using debian lenny and i am using the virtualbox to run windows xp, but there is a problem because my usb flash dirve is not recognised in the windows operating system!!!! i have also actived the usb in the viitual machine but there is no change.any advice!!!!

I'm going to send you to the gentoo and arch wikis .
Go there and look for the virtualbox usb tutorials.
