Unhappy My ubuntu 10.04 doesnt start

I just play around with apache and php, everything was working right, but, suddenly nothing works, I tried to open a terminal and nothing, Firefox and nothing, then I realized that the OS was freeze, my next step was restart the PC, and guess what, nothing happens, then I Wait, and wait and wait and finally turn off the PC, wait 30sec and turn on, then it shows the PC manufacturer, Ubuntu logo, Ubuntu wallpaper, and nothing else!!! :'( Where in the name of god is my login screen?????????

So, I need a little advice, What to do Next?

Thanks in advance,
