My turn, what distro should i use?!?!

Okay ive been trying to use slackware for the last 3 weeks but that has been hell, I basically use my system for multimedia ex. videos, anime, music, ect . I like to download stuff off filesharing applications and I want to be able to configure it without it being such a pain in the arse like slackware has been to me i had to create a bak file for my xorg.conf to restore my system a few times from tweaking my mouse protocols. I would also like to be able to watch video on my tv like I do in windows.

HELP please !!!

oh yeah btw my slackware is hosed I dont know what to do about that I tried using the bak file but it didnt work, I am now getting SuSe Personal 9.1 but i dont know if that is REALLY for me.

Slack is meant to get work done. If you want a Win clone that's really easy to download things and such go with Xandros. That was the Windows killer for me everything is so simple. I had Limewire up in minutes veruses hours of yelling rude language at my moniter while using Slack. Slack's install rules and it's really great but it's there to get work done. If you want fun go with Xandros.

There are quite a few distros that could work out of the box for you. SuSE, Mandrake, Ubuntu and Mepis all come to mind..
