My Second Newbie Question

Is there a way to be notified by email when your post has been answered? This option is setup on another website I belong to, [mod_edit]SPAM URL removed[/mod_edit] fact ya'll are offically invited to check it out, we need more good experts and you can make some cash on the side for premium answers. Thanks in advance..and no I do not own, share or have any financial affiliation with fixya.com its just a cool site. You're basically a help desk person answering questions as they come in.

Yes there is, it's called thread subscription and you can find it in the My Options link in the right

Quote:
Default Thread Subscription Mode
When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.
Default Thread Subscription Mode: Instant email notification
This is a feature I enabled when I created my account.. so it's been working for me for how many years now ???

And yeah that does look more like an advertisement than an actual question of how to enable a standard feature on this site.
