My RH9 is unbootable after ...
I have 2 partition on my PC.
1)WIN 2000 profesional 2)Redhat 9 After i format my C:WIN 2000 and did a new installation again on win 2000. When my pc boots up. It no longer ask me for which partition i want to boot. I just automatically boots into Windows 2000. I believe that the boot file in 2000 must overwritten the boot file in RH9. I am a really new to linux, so can somebody teach me on what should i do to allow me to have that boot screen where i can choose which partition i wish to boot. Please explain in details on: on what disk to use and what command to type and what should i see after i have type that command. Thankyou! |

Hi novkhan,
I'm going to assume that you used grub as that us redhats default boot loader, I think the following how-to should help you out. http://www.sorgonet.com/linux/grubrestore/ good luck getting it fixed. chris |
