My Red Hat 9.0 doesn't play MP3s...

Hi all,
I'm newbie to linux. I'm now using Red Hat 9.0

When i'm going to play MP3 s it says it can't play.... :-(

Is there any method to play mp3s using my Red Hat 9.0 without downloading
new software?

Could you please help me to play my favourite mp3s using Red Hat Linux 9.0? :-) ?

May be you dont have the mp3 support yet. What program are you using to play mp3's??? Redhat doesnt include mp3 support due to legal issues. If you are using XMMS to play songs...just download xmms-mp3 rpm from any rpm site and install it and you should be good to go.
