My Partition Screwed Up After Upgrade!!


Device Boot Start End
/dev/sda1 * 2048 206847 HPFS/NTFS/FAT
/dev/sda2 206848 260673927 HPFS/NTFS/FAT
/dev/sda3 260675582 488396799 Extended
/dev/sda5 260675584 482443263 Linux
/dev/sda6 482445312 488396799 Linux

Help something happened to my dual boot partition. My win now has registry errors and I automatically go into a GUI login for my backtrack (kubuntu).

What to do?

Download hiren's boot cd & run chkdsk
