My numpad is functioning as a mouse ... ?

Heya. I'm using X, and something happened and instead of my numpad sending regular numpad keys (numbers/home/arrow/etc) now it functions as some sort of mouse. The arrows move the mouse, and several other keys like 5, +, 0 seem to click (but all seem to click right mouse key).

Anyone have any idea whats up or how to get a regular numpad back?

Check your preferences-->accessibility options. There is an option to enable mouse move with numpad. Probably on.

Just out of curiosity:

Does any one know how to do that without the redhat tools? I use slackware, and the numpad a mouse seems useful.

I think both KDE and Gnome have 'accessibility' options that let you do this. I do not think it is a RH specific thing.

Well, I don't have KDE or Gnome either. I could install them just to play around with this feature, but do you know how it works/what files it manipulates?
