my mouse is not detected....


i am trying to install linux enterprise 4 , but after entering at linux pci=nommconf all-generic-ide , my mouse is not detected. previously my hard disk was not detected . my hard disk is a sata samsung 80 gb hdd.processor is core 2duo and ram is 512 mb 667 mhz . when i install with help of keyboard, linux comes to point kernel uncomppesing ..... ok but not booting please help iam very new to linux. i have installed linux oncein old pc. but this pc is core 2 duo i don't know hardwqre compability.

What does the output of "dmesg" show? What do you see when you run "lspci" and "lspci -n"? What is the output of "lshw"?

We need more information before we can help you.
