My ISP is using Squid to manage proxy and using mac restriction with IP based user authentication. He is also throttling downloading speed. I want to know is there any way I can make my IP free from throttling or make some IPs open that do not require any login authentications?
Since it is not your squid server. You have no options. But in your other thread you stated you can download 60kbps.
Your option is only move to a different isp or pay for a bigger cap. Did you exceed your allocated data? What is the target best effort speed for what you signed up for? Is it fiber or copper? How far are you from the exchange?
