My computer says there is no bootable device on computer when there is


Last friday my computer worked fine and then when i started today it said there was no bootable device when there is unless someone deleted when i wasn't around so i need to know is there a way for me to get everything back with out re-installing everything

Depends - stick a bootable CD in and check.
I had a laptop do this a while back, and it meant what it said. It will not recognise the hard disk at boot at all anymore. I used a grub floppy (for a while) to get at the data, then tossed it out.
