Unhappy My computer restart automatically from time to time ??


What happen to my computer ?

it just keep restarting about 20min or so,i check no virus.....
but i have planty of memory available ??

hard drive ide x6
cd rom x2
p4 3 ghz ht

ddr ram 1gb

Heat problems with newer computers can cause auto reboots at random times.. check your CPU to make sure it's not getting too hot.

Heat can be a problem as mentioned before, or memory. If you have a stack of distros you've tried, do any of them have memory checks when booting off the CD (I know SuSE does)? Try leaving one for a few hours and see if anything naughty comes back about your RAM.
