Am a new linux user . I have a network of 10 pc,s on ubuntu hardy heron LTS 8 04,running on a centOs proxy server . My conection speed has drastically dropped on the LAN ,.What could be the problem,? Should I blame my Isp or Shud I blame the proxy server? Please help am a new linux user and I like it.

Did you test your internet connection ? http://www.speedtest.net/

It;s good to know the baseline speeds of your internet connection, then when an issue like this comes up it's easy to compare current speed test results to your original baseline.
