Multitrack Music software

Hi I'm interested to find out if anyone out there records and or mixs music using linux. At the moment on my windows box I use Cooledit pro2. Is there anything similar to this for linux?

Try Ardour (ardour.sf.net) - apparently better for pro use than Audacity. Rosegarden may meet your needs as well
