multiple partitions
i have 3 partitions. i linux swap, an ext3 and a fat32. i was going to use the fat32 for wine or whatever, but i ran into a modem error and it turns out i want XP back, and also linux. could i still use the fat32 for windows, and i need the link or something to a menu file that will launch on startup and directions on how to install it.
thanks

yes you can do, should be a problem, although installing windows will nuke your bootloader, so make sure you have a linux boot floppy or rescue cd to get back into to linux with to reinstate the bootloader.
you mightn't want to use windows though, are you SURE your modem won't work? if you're talknig about a software dialup modem, make sure you've been to linmodems.org first.

if its a hardware modem then you should be able to get it to work, most softmodems can be made compatible at the above site as far as i know, i made mine work a few years back!
