multiple desktop edge flipping in KDE?

Is it possible to use the mouse to flip between multiple desktops in KDE? I mean, by moving the cursor all the way to the side of the screen, it then flips to the adjacent desktop.
I'm using KDE 3.4.2 on SuSE 9.3.
All I can find in the Multiple Desktops section of the Control Centre is to switch desktops using the mouse wheel.

did you right click on desktop > configure.......a setting to change behaviour should be around somewhere.........

Yes, all I could find was the option to scroll through desktops using the mouse wheel.

I had the same problem and at last I found it. Go to "configure your desktop"->"Window Behavior" section -> "Advanced" tab. Enable "Active Desktop Borders".

How odd that they would put it there and not in the desktop controls?!
