Multipathing in linux
 
Dear All

Thanks in advance

I am trying to mount LUN of storedge sun 2600 series with san brocade 300 switch . I am able to view the mountpont but twicw as in /sdc and sdb.

how to enable multipathing so that i an enable it in linux version RHEL 5.3 like in solaris there is one command stmsboot -e in liux what are the steps .

please help its urgent.

You don't provide any details that we would need to help you, such as what version/distro of Linux you're using, or what kind of HBA.

Google has lots of information on this subject, so if you look for "linux san multipathing", along with your Linux distro name, you'll find what you're looking for. You might also contact your SAN vendor, as most of the time, they'll have Linux HBA drivers, containing the tools, etc., to do what you're wanting.
